What Can You Expect from Small Group Personal Training?

Personal Coaching in a Small Group

Small Group Personal Training at Fortis High Performance Center combines the personal guidance of one-on-one training with the motivation and energy of training in a group.

You train in a group of up to 6–8 people, while receiving individual attention and coaching from our trainers. The sessions follow a structured program, but exercises and training intensity can be adapted to your level, capacity and goals when needed.

This gives you the benefits of training with others without getting lost in a large group fitness class.

Movement Analysis and Physical Screening

A good training program starts with understanding how you move. That is why we assess your physical starting point at the beginning of your program.

We look at factors such as mobility, stability, strength and physical capacity. We use this information to structure your training effectively and address individual areas of attention where necessary.

Throughout your program, we monitor your development through various measurements. This gives us a clear picture of your progress and allows us to adjust your coaching when needed.

A Complete Training Program

With Small Group Personal Training, you follow a structured program that combines different aspects of fitness and physical performance.

The sessions combine strength training and conditioning, with a focus on:

  • Strength and stability

  • Fitness and physical capacity

  • Speed and explosiveness

  • Mobility and recovery

  • Technique and movement quality

Every session has a clear structure and purpose. You are not simply training hard — you are training with a clear goal to become stronger, fitter and healthier.

Personal Guidance Within a Group

The key difference between Small Group Personal Training and regular group classes is the level of personal attention.

Our trainers coach you throughout every session, paying close attention to your technique and execution and adapting exercises when necessary. Whether you have a different level of physical capacity, a specific area of concern or a different training background, we take this into account.

You get the energy and motivation of training with a group, combined with the level of coaching you would normally expect from personal training.

Nutrition and Recovery

Achieving results goes beyond training alone. That is why nutrition and recovery are also an important part of our Small Group Personal Training program.

You receive practical nutritional guidance that fits your goals and daily life. No restrictive diets or short-term solutions — instead, we teach you how to make better choices that you can maintain in the long term.

In addition, ice baths and physiotherapy screenings are part of our coaching. This allows us to look beyond your training and focus on the complete picture of performance, health and recovery.

Flexible Training

A busy schedule should not prevent you from staying consistent with your training. Through our digital scheduling app, you can easily plan your sessions in advance.

With multiple Small Group sessions available throughout the week, you can fit your training around work, family and other commitments.

You train three times per week and also have unlimited access to our training facility.
